This project is a strategic cooperation between the school authorities of Umbria and Lower Saxony (RLSB Hanover). Teachers participate as active players in a blended learning scenario to experience eTwinning in practice. The main objective is to exchange best practice examples for democracy education and sustainable school development. Through their own experience of the TwinSpace, participants are empowered to subsequently initiate independent eTwinning projects or Erasmus+ student mobility programmes.

Aims

• exchange on active participation, inclusion and democratic school culture. • Teachers learn the eTwinning methodology through ‘learning by doing’ in order to break down digital barriers. • Establishment of own projects on the topics of democracy education and sustainability. • Development of stable partnerships between regions as a basis for future Erasmus+ cooperation.
